You’ve probably heard this debate before but bear with me. So what’s the value of a Facebook fan? Is it £5? Is it £10? Is it £100? Well, the answer is none of the above. It’s almost impossible to put a monetary value on a fan when brand pages sit within different verticals, serve different needs and vary from consumer goods to…. dog food. There is no one size fits all approach to valuing a fan on Facebook.

I particularly liked this quote and is something I find myself repeating like a broken record….
The more the brand is focused on the long term, the deeper the levels of engagement and the more likely the return on investment will bear its fruit.
