The Social Media Council Europe is a ‘brands-only’ peer-2-peer community to allow members to understand how social media impacts their roles, employers and industries. We want to create a place that helps you to figure out how to make social media work at your company. All this in a secured environment where you can talk about issues you can’t talk about anywhere else

Europe-focused

Too often thought leadership and case-studies are with a US focus despite great work happening across Europe. Because social media is defined by cultural exchanges it therefore reflects local nuances which are often not being accounted for within planning phases. The Social Media Council Europe aims to help understand these European nuances of Social Media and connect with the European social media community.

Editorial Thought Leadership

We seek to use our resources to showcase great European work, understand metrics, effectiveness and ROI and help further the understanding and advancement of social media for the purposes of; deeper consumer engagement, loyalty, affinity, retention and sales. In the future the SMCE will publish white-papers, weekly newsletters, host events and rewards to ensure members are up to date on market movements and best practice standards.

We are aware that you don‘t have much time to stay informed and get answers on your concrete questions. We want to create a place where you get fast answers and real-time collaboration from the community.

Co-Created

The community is supported by 90:10 Group EU offices and affiliated partners but run and owned by its members. We believe in Co-Creation. That’s why we want to involve you in the development of the community. The agenda, content and direction will be set with members through a process of co-creation on a 4 week Spigit platform detailed here.
